Sr Solutions Architect - Program Automation

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Sr. Solutions Architect Program Automation is to design an automated and integrated system that will allow for the configuration and provisioning of IT assets for upgrades and expansions throughout the enterprise.

We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building applications using .NET Standard 4.6+/Core App 3.x with a primary focus on back end and integration technologies. The primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of the applications.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp. s policies, practices, and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Fully integrate and automate workflow between platforms such as Active Directory and ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application developers, consultants and vendors to analyze business requirements, business specific scenarios, best practices, and then document, define and script processes that meet the business needs of the enterprise and are aligned and consistent with enterprise IT strategies and plans.
  • Partner with property IT and 3rd party resources on solutions development and deployment. Lead automation efforts in global projects to create a platform that will automatically build, allocate and configure standardized IT equipment configurations for deployment throughout the enterprise, both in existing locations as upgrades and new locations as buildouts.
  • Join forces with the broader IT security, risk and compliance organization to automate monitoring and reporting of anomalies and compliance within the enterprise monitoring platforms. Maintain and define configuration as well as reporting standards.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks and issues and escalate to management accordingly.
  • International business travel every quarter is required

Minimum Qualifications
  • 21 years of age
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • Preferred:
    BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 5
    years of relevant work experience
  • Experienced in .NET development utilizing C+, VB and other programming technologies. Experience in integration with industry standard databases on SQL, DB2 and potentially Oracle.
  • Proven, advanced experience with:
    • Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies
    • Developing APIs to interconnect workflows into automated functional applications. On platforms such as ServiceNow, O365, SCCM and Power BI
    • Utilize Azure DevOps to maintain reusable and reliable code deployments
    • Remediate bottlenecks and bugs associated with development of applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • C++, VB, Python and other relevant programming languages.
    • Web platform development
    • Basic knowledge of Network topologies, protocols and standards
    • Web API and .NET framework 4.6+
    • SQL Server, database schema creation and management
    • QA process, Agile process and UAT methodology to ensure quality deployments.
    • Compliance regulations such as:
      PCI, GLBA, SOX, GDPR
    • Business processes and basic corporate finance, management and accounting principles
    • Hospitality and gaming business processes and industry constraints (preferred)
  • Ability to think strategically in a highly complex environment
  • Ability to lead, influence and mentor others
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
